The materials used for the iconic façade of the general headquarters of the Construction Company Penzkopfer were glazed ceramics in reddish tones on all their faces, with a slight inclination of the planes of the facade providing the building with a unique and unrepeatable effect of depth and uniqueness. Lightness, fast prefab installation, low carbon footprint, durability, and complete recyclability are relevant features of the solution chosen for the façade, due to its all-mechanical fixation and exquisite materiality.
In addition, the choice of Flexbrick as a construction system for this singular envelope gives great added value to the facilities, since it not only acts as a double exterior skin but also works as a sunscreen and contributes to the ecological goals brought by Bollwein architects to this project.
