One of the most outstanding features of the project is the innovative use of the Flexbrick system on the building’s façade. Flexbrick is a flexible cladding system composed of ceramic mesh, which allows for great versatility in design and facilitates the creation of architectural envelopes with high aesthetic and functional value.
In the case of the Beraun Parking, Flexbrick has been used to clad the facades, providing a distinctive and modern finish that dialogues with the urban environment. The Flexbrick ceramic meshes allow not only adequate natural ventilation, essential for a parking lot, but also a play of light and shadow that dynamizes the perception of the building from different angles.
The design of the ceramic meshes has been customized for this project, following the aesthetic criteria of VAUMM Architects, and has been adapted to the technical specifications of the parking lot. Thanks to the flexibility of the Flexbrick system, a fast and efficient assembly was possible, which is especially advantageous in urban works where time and community impact are critical factors.
